Frequently Ask Questions

Q:Is the panel in my home safe?

A:In most cases the answer will be yes, however, there are a few exceptions. If your house is older and hasn't been updated lately, it may have an older panel that may be deemed dangerous or outdated, Pushmatic, Federal Pacific, Zinsko, and Edison base fuse panels have been proven to fail under normal operating conditions. This can result in fire and loss in property or worse and may not be covered by your homeowners insurance. If you have any of these panels (picture above), give us a call, we will be happy to give you a free quote to replace it!
